Congratulations students! 15 days down… were 1/12 of the way through the school year! That’s not that bad, right? I mean sure, that doesn’t count the weekends or holidays in between, but it’s still do-able… Right? Well, we really don’t have a choice. So I guess it’ll have to do.
This was a great day for fashion at Monte Vista. I saw some great pieces on different people that I loved… and others that made me want to vomit. Here’s what I did like: 1.Knit sweaters… 2.Army boots… 3.Cargo pants… 4.The color yellow… 5.Pants. Items 1, 2, and 3 were seen a lot together today. Item 4 is making a serious comeback (kind of like blazing red pants). Finally… Item 6: Pants…
IT’S FALL! Pants are beginning to become comfortable to wear again, due to weather changes. Since wearing pants isn’t going to give us heat stroke anymore, jeans are beginning to pop up everywhere.
Ahh fall… the season of all things mellow. Fall is the one time of year where you can pretty much do whatever you want. Or at least on the west coast you can! The sun is still shining (which means pool time), but it’s not blistering (which means calm, cool walks). Everyone is happy during the fall.
Then winter hits.
Enjoy the fall season everyone. It’s a gorgeous time of year. I’m sure Instagram will be hit by pictures of changing leaves and other things that have to do with nature. I personally can’t wait.
The thing I saw that I didn’t like today: BLACK. I’m pretty sure I counted at least 10 people at Monte Vista that voluntarily wore all black. Head to toe. Eye makeup and all. It was quite a sight. God gave us colored vision for a reason. Wear colors. Period. All black isn’t wrong all the time though, don’t get me wrong. You can always throw in a pair of colorful shoes, a fun necklace, or if you’re really that dark, a nice bow in your hair. All black with no splash is scary. Just say no.
My apologies to Goths’. We’ve all been there.
